Here are the top three stories today in Cartersville:

1. Downtown Gallery's "Fall and Holiday" exhibition will open this week. Be one of the first to see these highlighted works Saturday, Sept. 24, with a reception from 4 to 7 p.m. (Subscription: The Daily Tribune News)
2. The cause of a commercial fire off Highway 411 in north Bartow remains under investigation. Emergency personnel responded to the facility which houses Morgan Corp. and Creative Living on September 17 a little before 2 a.m. after a fire alarm was triggered. No injuries were reported, but there was extensive damage to the building.
3. Cartersville native Chris Cartwright won the Georgia PGA Professional Championship on Tuesday at Barnsley Resort in Adairsville. Cartwright, West Pines Golf Course's PGA professional, played at Clayton State and Reinhardt. He also won the Georgia PGA North Chapter championship in 2015. (The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
