Farmers Markets Gear Up To Serve Residents
The Cartersville and Adairsville farmers markets will soon open for their 2015 seasons.

Residents in Bartow County will soon have two farmers markets where they can do their shopping for locally grown produce and handmade products.

The Cartersville Farmer’s Market and the Adairsville Farmers’ Market will soon open for the 2015 season.
Cartersville’s kick-off day and plant sale will be held at 7 a.m. Saturday, May 30. The 2015 season of the Cartersville Farmer’s Market will be open every Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and each Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon through Sept. 30.

Market sessions will be held in the Founder’s Oak parking lot, which sits across the street from Cartersville City Hall.
The market will feature a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, jams and jellies, local honey, fresh flowers, crafts and much more.
To the north of the city, the Adairsville Farmer’s Market will open on Saturday, June 6. Market hours are from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays.
The marekt will set up shop in the parking lot behind Adairsville Animal Hospital, which is at 7446 Adairsville Highway (S.R. 140).
