Feed The Community Dinner Returns Nov. 19
New Frontier of Bartow County's event will be held at the Cartersville Civic Center.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- On Saturday, Nov. 19, New Frontier of Bartow County will hold its 16th Annual Feed the Community Dinner.
The dinner, which will be held in honor of Michael Dean, will be from from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cartersville Civic Center located at 435 West Main Street.
The event will feature a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, as well as other services including blood pressure checks, HIV testing, free clothing and toys and free haircuts. The dinner is open to everyone in the community, including our senior citizens, shelter residents, poverty-stricken families, veterans, or those just wishing to fellowship with their neighbor.

Organizers said they hope the community will "once again answer the challenge and support" and consider volunteering with the organization.
If you or your organization would like to volunteer, please contact William Solomon at (404) 625-3880. Volunteer opportunities include serving of the food, helping with the clothing closet, parking lot attendants, and clean up.

This is a great opportunity for high school students in need of volunteer service hours.
Free transportation is being provided by Bartow Transit to and from the event. To schedule a pickup call (770) 387-5165 before the day of the event.
It has always been the goal of this organization to ensure that no one leaves the dinner hungry. In order to accomplish this worthwhile cause, we are asking for your help in order to fully fund this event. Companies and individuals wishing to donate can make a contribution online.
Donations can also be sent via mail to New Frontier of Bartow County at P.O. Box 1891, Cartersville, GA 30120.
Donations of clothing, toys and children's books are also being accepted. The following drop-off dates and times have been established for individual wishing to donate:
Summer Hill Complex, 129 Aubrey Street, Cartersville
- Tuesday, Oct. 25: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Tuesday, Nov. 1: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 5: 9 a.m. to noon
- Tuesday, Nov. 8: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Tuesday, Nov. 15: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
