Here are the top stories today in Cartersville:

1. The region's newest Food City opens on November 9. Look for all the modern and traditional touches of a grocery; a bakery, floral shop, hot-to-go and other carry-out meals, a pharmacy and a gas station. (Northwest Georgia News)
