Here are the top stories today in Cartersville:
- The region's newest Food City opens on November 9. Look for all the modern and traditional touches of a grocery; a bakery, floral shop, hot-to-go and other carry-out meals, a pharmacy and a gas station. (Northwest Georgia News)
- Bartow Operation Safe Halloween conducted an evening hours joint operation to ensure sex offender compliance with state law and probation/parole conditions. Bartow County currently has 237 active registered sex offenders. (Bartow County Sheriff's Office (Official) via Facebook)
- Georgia Court of Appeals Judge Amanda Mercier ruled in favor of Cartersville Medical Center (now Piedmont Cartersville) and the Georgia Department of Community Health.
