Former Bartow County Sheriff's Employee Charged With Sexual Assault
Gregory Jarrod Allen, formerly with the sheriff's office, had a sexual relationship with an inmate he was supervising, authorities said.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — A former employee with the Bartow County Sheriff's Office has been charged with sexual assault after the GBI said that he had sexual relations with an inmate.
Gregory Jarrod Allen, 41, of Cartersville, is charged on suspicion of sexual assault by person with supervisory/disciplinary authority and violation of oath, the GBI said.
Authorities said Allen had a sexual relationship with an inmate he was supervising while a Bartow County employee.
