  1. Georgia's Governor Brian Kemp and First Lady Marty Kemp have announced the winners of this year's Governor's Awards for the Arts and Humanities. Georgia Museums Inc. of Bartow, the nonprofit organization that runs the Bartow History Museum, Tellus Science Museum, Booth Western Art Museum and the Savoy Automobile Museum, was one of the 10 recipients.   2. A wind advisory for Bartow and neighboring counties will be in effect until 11 p.m. tonight. Winds will be up to 25 mph with gusts of up to 45 mph. Use caution when driving and secure outside objects. (forecast.weather.gov)
  3. In 1943, President Franklin D. Roosevelt proclaimed March to be Red Cross Month. The Georgia Red Cross will be celebrating the 80th annual Red Cross Month by recognizing "community heroes all throughout the month."
