Guns, Cash, Prescription Drugs Taken During Entering Auto Spree
The Bartow County Sheriff's Office reports several vehicles were entered into between late Sunday evening and early Monday morning.

ADAIRSVILLE, GA -- The Bartow County Sheriff's Office is investigating several reports of residents who had their vehicles entered into earlier this week in the Adairsville area.
The reports released by the agency show the incidents possibly took place between the evening of Sunday, Sept. 24 and the morning of Monday, Sept. 25 at homes on Washakie Lane, Knight Drive, Joe Frank Harris Parkway, C C C Road NW, Clear Pass and Larsen Ridge.
One male resident reported someone entered his 1992 Ford Ranger and stole his Diamondback DB9 firearm from his center console. No damage was reported to the truck, as it was unlocked at the time of the alleged theft, the incident report states.

Another male resident said he noticed his vehicle had been entered into due to the car's information, which was previously in the glove box, was located on the lawn of the residence (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. "He stated he left the vehicle locked and was unsure of how someone could have entered it," the responding deputy wrote said. "I observed the listed vehicle and did not see any damage to indicate someone forced their way into the vehicle by breaking into it."

A female resident on Knight Drive said the alleged thieves entered two vehicles, which were unlocked, but "nothing of importance" was taken from the two SUVs, a 2010 Ford Expedition and 2006 Mercury Mariner.
A resident on C C C Road NW also noted that $60 was taken from her unlocked 2010 Toyota Camry. The woman told the deputy she heard something around 1 a.m. in the wood line next to her home, "but did not see anyone when she went to look," the report states.
A woman who lives on Clear Pass said she her vehicle, a 2005 Lexus ES 330, was parked inside her garage, and its glove compartment was left open and the windows were rolled down. The woman said she left her purse inside the vehicle, and "must have forgotten to close her garage before" retreating inside the home.
Taken from the Lexus was a bottle of antidepressants and $20 in cash. Another resident on Knight Drive said $10 was taken from his unlocked 2013 Chrysler 200 while a citizen on Larsen Ridge said her driver's license and a monogrammed diaper bag was stolen from her unlocked 2013 GMC Acadia.

A male resident also told deputies a 12-gauge shotgun was taken from the seat of an unsecured 2004 Ford Econoline E-150 parked in the 4300 block of Joe Frank Harris Parkway.
Bartow County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Sgt. Jonathan Rogers said the agency "unfortunately" doesn't have any leads, persons of interests or suspects in the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 770-382-5050.
