Halloween 2017: Bartow County Events Set For Oct. 31

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- At least two events are scheduled in the coming days for anyone who'd rather bypass traditional trick-or-treating activities for their little ones.

First up is the 6th Annual Fall Festival hosted by the Bartow County Parks & Recreation Department. The festival will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31 at the Hamilton Crossing Park soccer field at 31 Beavers Drive in Cartersville.

Admission is free, and youngsters -- and adults, if you are so inclined -- are invited to dress up in their favorite costume and join the county for fun and entertainment. To the north in Adairsville, that city will host its Halloween on the Square celebration from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31. The free event will involve various businesses participating in trick-or-treating activities for children. The event will be held on the city's downtown square.
