Candler was born in 1851 in Villa Rica and passed away in 1929. Along with establishing the company whose product forever changed the beverage industry, Candler was also a banker, philanthropist and once served as mayor of Atlanta.

The presentation will reveal a much deeper family connection to Cartersville than previously known, the museum said.
