The Bartow County Environmental Health Department conducted food service inspections Dec. 16-23 at the following establishments:

December 18, 2015 Score: 71, Grade: C

• Observed raw meat products stored above fresh/cooked foods in the reach in cooler. Discussed with the PIC. Foods were physically separated.
• Observed utensils stored in the clean dish area, but had waste stuck on food debris on them. Dishes/Utensils were rewashed.
• Observed shrimp and eggrolls sitting on prep table at 69F and 65F. Discussed with PIC that these foods must maintain proper cold holding temperatures or use time as a control.
• Observed food prep cooler holding foods above the required maximum temperature of 41F.
• Observed chicken on prep table at 105F, chicken at 92F. Hot held foods must maintain at least 135F or above. Foods were discarded.
• Observed cooked foods in the reach in cooler that were not properly date marked. Cooked foods must be marked with a seven day discard date with “Day 1” being the day the food was cooked. Foods were labeled during the inspection.
• Observed wet cleaning cloths stored on the prep table. Wet cleaning cloths must be stored in sanitizer when not in use.

• Observed prep tables for the espresso coffee and iced coffee dirty with spilled creams, syrup, etc. Spoons stored in the clean bin had spilled syrup on them. Area was to be cleaned and sanitized immediately.
• Observed cleaning chemicals stored on the prep sink drain board. Observed cleaning chemicals stored above the clean side of the three compartment sinks. Chemical cleaners were relocated.
• Observed missing/broken thermometers in the reach in coolers that need to be replaced.
• Observed wiping cloths stored on the prep tables rather than being stored in the container of sanitizer. All wet or damp cleaning cloths should be stored in sanitizer when not in use.
