Here are the top stories in Cartersville today:
- A Cartersville man attempted to kill himself while detained in a patrol vehicle. According to the Bartow County Sheriff's Office, the defendant is accused of driving under the influence, one count of removal or attempted removal of a public official's weapon, one count of interference with government property and two counts of willful obstruction of a law enforcement stemming from an incident alleged to have occurred on May 30. - You've seen them at Drowned Valley Brewing as well as the A. Dam Food Truck Park & Beer Garden. Now Mule House is making the transition to a brick-and-mortar restaurant. (Northwest Georgia News)
- The biggest challenge faced by attendees at Imagine Festival involved river tubing. Tubers encountered currents that were more ferocious than anticipated. The number of people who required swift water rescue services during the festival easily eclipsed 100.
