  1. October revenue increase in Cartersville: Compared to October 2021, the City of Cartersville's October 2022 financial data saw a significant boost in general fund revenues. With $7.8 million in general fund income reported, the City's general fund-related expenditures also increased over the year for a net profit of $4.6 million. (Subscription: The Daily Tribune News)

  3. GA DPS urges safe driving during the holidays: Along with holiday travel tips, the Georgia Department of Public Safety has issued the worst times for traffic during this holiday season. Georgia State Patrol (GSP) Troopers and Motor Carrier Compliance (MCCD) Officers across the state are preparing for the upcoming holiday weekends by ramped up patrolling to remind motorists to drive safely.
