Registration, along a complimentary breakfast, will start at 9 a.m. Kickstands will go up at 11 a.m., and riders embark on a roughly two-hour scenic ride throughout north Georgia.

The cost for bike riders to participate is $10 per person and $5 for passengers. Riders may register in advance at www.rideforthekids.org or they may register on the day of the event.

The ride will conclude at Southern Devil Harley-Davidson on U.S. 411 in Cartersville, where the celebration will continue and include food, music, adult beverages, a live auction, raffle and contests.

This year, a 2004 Harley Davidson Road King will be raffled off as the ultimate prize.

Raffle tickets are $20 each and may be purchased by contacting Advocates for Children at (770) 387-01143 or info@AdvoChild.org. They can also be purchased by contacting Freebird with the Iron Order Motorcycle Club at (706) 934-8948.

Last year, the ride raised $11,000 for summer activities at the shelter, some of which include bowling, a visit to Sky Zone, movie theater and the beach.

Bikers and non-bikers are encouraged to attend this event to help continue to provide safety, comfort and hope to the children of Bartow County and north Georgia.
