  1. New February 2023 Northwest Georgia unemployment data shows overall jobless claims are down, but still higher than the same time frame for last year. The amount of jobs in Bartow is expected to increase over the coming two years with the amount of industry coming in and opening, but the "short-term picture is murky." (Northwest Georgia News)
  2. Century Bank of Georgia has been named one of the top performing banks in the US by S&P Global Market Intelligence. Along with this distinction, if was also ranked "9th best performing community bank in the Southeast among banks with under $10 billion in total assets."   3. Bartow County elementary and middle schools' media centers are expecting big changes coming soon. The Bartow County BOE recently approved the purchase of media hubs to be installed in the schools' media centers to aid in STEM learning for students. (Bartow County Schools via Facebook)
