Julie "Nikki" Carlton, 23, Cartersville Resident Studied at Georgia Highlands

Julie Nicole Hope (Nikki) Carlton, 23, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015.

Nikki was born January 23, 1992, in Bartow County, the daughter of Jeffrey and Barbara Carlton. She was a student at Georgia Highlands and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are her parents, Jeffrey and Barbara Carlton of Cartersville; sisters and brothers in law, Amy and Tom Olson of Adairsville, Tracey and Darrell Lee of Taylorsville; brothers and sister in law, Matthew Dawkins of Cartersville, Todd and Kerri Carlton of Dallas; three nephews, a niece, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
A private funeral services will be held at a later day and time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Relationship Center at the Outreach Center of Bartow County Resources in honor of Nikki Carlton. These donations will help establish an outreach for young adults struggling with addiction.
