Kiddie Parade Marches Into Cartersville On Saturday

The annual Kiddie Parade, sponsored by the Cartersville Kiwanis Club, will start at 10 a.m. Sept. 20 in downtown Cartersville.

A long standing tradition will return to Cartersville on Saturday.

The annual Kiddie Parade will hit the streets of downtown Cartersville Sept. 20.

Parade lineup starts at 9 a.m. and the parade will kick off at 10 am.

The route will start on Main Street at Bartow Street and will continue towards Main Street. The procession will take a left onto Tennessee Street, a left onto Cherokee Street and march towards the parking lot of Cartersville City Hall where the parade will end.

Sponsored by the Cartersville Kiwanis Club, the annual Kiddie Parade started in 1956. Parade participants will also be able to register to be considered for prizes in the individual boy, individual girl, bicycle, group and float categories.
