Lane Closures Scheduled For I-75 In Bartow County

The lane closures are needed to Georgia DOT crews can repair deteriorating pavement.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Intermittent lane closures are scheduled to take place next week on the northbound side of Interstate 75 in Bartow County.

The closures are expected to occur from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20 between exits 278 and 283, the Georgia Department of Transportation said.

The two left lanes at this location will be closed so Georgia DOT maintenance crews can repair deteriorating pavement spots along this stretch of the interstate.

Of course, these plans are dependent upon the weather and are subject to change. Motorists are advised to avoid the area. If you must travel through, be sure to slow down and watch for crews who will be working in and along the roadway.
