Lecture Explores History Of Farming In Bartow County

Paul J. Pugliese will present details on the history of farming in Bartow County.

From Bartwon History Museum: Join us at the Bartow History Museum on September 20th at noon as Paul J. Pugliese, MPPPM, Bartow County Extension Coordinator for the local UGA Extension, presents details on the history of farming in Bartow County. He will share how farming and land use has changed in the last 100 years, highlight noteworthy organizations and farmers that have advanced modern agriculture locally, and provide a brief overview of the $100-million-dollar agriculture industry that exists today. The lecture is free for members and is included in the price of admission to the museum for non-members.
