1. A 40-year-old, former EMT was sentenced to life in Bartow Superior Court on Oct. 31, following a recommendation from prosecutors. The defendant was convicted in September of one count of aggravated child molestation and three counts of child molestation. (Subscription: The Daily Tribune News)
