Lip Sync Challenge Reaches Bartow County

The Sheriff's Office on Wednesday released a video of its deputies and employees taking part in the challenge with the music hit, "Happy."

CARTERSVILLE, GA — The Bartow County Sheriff's Office has become the latest law enforcement agency joining the lip sync challenge sweeping the country.

The sheriff's office said it received multiple requests to have its deputies film themselves singing along to popular songs. After weeks of pleas from the public, the agency relented and on Wednesday provided its thousands of followers rendition of the social media craze.

"It became clear very quickly that we are better clappers than syncers, but at least we're HAPPY," the agency said, with a pun intended for the song by Pharrell Williams it chose to use.
