- Main Street railroad crossing expected to be open today. (City of Cartersville via Facebook)
- Today's groundbreaking ceremony at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center celebrates the North Tower expansion project which will add 20 short-stay hospital beds, support space, general storage areas and materials management. Piedmont Cartersville's sterile processing department will also be expanding over 6,000 square feet, doubling the current size of the space. (Cartersville-Bartow Chamber via Instagram)
- The nearly completed roundabout at State Route 293 at Hamilton Crossing will be much safer than a four-way stop, according to officials. "In that it eliminates several of the conflicting turn movements that take place at the intersection," said Cartersville-Bartow Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Transportation Planner Tom Sills.
