Man Dies After Becoming Trapped Between 2 Cotton Bales
BREAKING: The 27-year-old victim died after he became trapped between the 500-pound pressed bales Monday evening in Cartersville.
CARTERSVILLE, GA -- A man at a Cartersville warehouse died early Monday evening in an industrial accident.
Crews with the Cartersville Police and Fire departments as well as Bartow County Emergency Medical Services all responded to a warehouse at 101 Old Mill Road.
First responders arrived on the scene to find a 27-year-old man who was trapped between two, 500-pound pressed cotton bales, Bartow EMS spokesperson Brad Cothran said.

The bales were removed, and the man was pronounced dead on the scene, Cothran added.
