Body Found Inside Adairsville Home: Cops

ADAIRSVILLE, GA — Adairsville police made a grim discovery on Monday, as officers were dispatched to a death investigation at a home on Poplar Springs Road.

Officers responded to a call around 10:20 a.m. Aug. 6 of a resident found dead inside a home. The victim, identified as a 45-year-old man who lived at the residence, appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Adairsville police Capt. Louis Dean said.

The investigation remains ongoing, but investigators say no foul play is suspected at this time.
