KINGSTON, GA — Bartow County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating the discovery of an elderly man found dead Wednesday afternoon in Kingston. Deputies were dispatched to a call at a home on Norton Road just before 3:30 p.m. Feb. 21. Deputies arrived to find a man in his 80's who had been fatally shot, the agency said in a press release. Deputies and investigators are interviewing a person who was on the scene about the circumstances of the discovery, sheriff's office spokesperson Sgt.
