CARTERSVILLE, GA -- An 18-year-old male was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital after he was shot several times overnight Wednesday in Bartow County. The male was shot four times around 2 a.m. Aug. 23 along Valley View Drive, suffering gunshot wounds to his left thigh, left shoulder, left cheek and on the left side of his upper back, said Bartow EMS spokesperson Brad Cothran. Cothran added it appears a small caliber weapon was used. His condition is unknown at this time, and Patch is trying to determine which law enforcement agency is investigating the shooting.
