Mary Bennett, 59, Jean's Restaurant Employee Who Loved To Cook
Funeral services for the Bartow County native will be held Monday.

The following obituary was submitted by Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services:
Mary Bennett, 59, of White, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015 at her residence. A native of Bartow County born December 1, 1955, Mary was the daughter of the late James David Guyton and Louise Dishroom Guyton. Bennett loved to cook, garden and spend time with her grandchildren.
She was employed by Jean’s Restaurant in White for 28 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Charles Guyton and her sister, Minnie Sue Guyton.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jimmy Bennett of White; her sons, David and Michelle Bennett of Rydal and Eugene and Shelly Bennett of White; her sisters, Dorothy Wilbanks of Adairsville, Lilly McGill of Cartersville and Nancy Baker of Cartersville; her brothers, Raymond Guyton of White and Marvin “Buck” Guyton of Cassville; seven grandchildren; special friends, Doug and Sue Barrett; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Billy Mundy officiating. Interment will follow in White Methodist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be John Blanchard, Doug Barrett, David Randall, Bobby Hale, Dougie Barrett and Christian Metroka.
