Here are the top three stories today in Cartersville:

1. The winning Mega Millions $1.34 billion ticket was sold in the Chicago area, but one $20,000 winning ticket was sold at the Pilot Travel Center on Cassville-White Road in Cartersville. That ticket winner doubled their winnings by purchasing the multiplier. Winning numbers were 13-36-45-57-67 and the Mega Ball was 14. (WRGA News)
2. A fatal accident shut down all lanes on U.S. 411 near Industrial Park Road on Sunday. Georgia State Patrol troopers responded to a 5-car collision. The passenger who sustained fatal injuries was an infant. (WRGA News)
3. In 2021, Sacovie White was named Georgia Region 7-AAAAA first-team selection at WR. This year, he was named the 2022 Offensive MVP of the National Combine.
