Eddie Lamar Evans was born on Oct. 25, 1964 to the late Charlie James Evans and Inez Ware in Cartersville, Georgia. Eddie was a 1982 graduate of Cartersville High, where he played football, basketball and baseball. He was the proud owner and operator of “Big G Trucking” and with the help of his special friends, Calvin Evans, Brian Dabbs, John Lewis and Ken Bishop, he was always busy.
He was a “TRUE FAN” of the University of Georgia and when you saw him in his big red truck with the “Black G”, you knew he loved his team.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his mother, Inez Ware; wife, Reina Isabel (Elsy) Hernandez Evans; children, Lyn (Sean) Cunningham, Jermond Evans, Eddie Lamar Evans, Jr, and Erick Argueta Luna; sisters, Rose Mary (Marvin) Creamer, Marcella (John) Scrutchins; brothers, Tony (Ethel) Ware, and Charlie James (Mona) Evans; twelve grandchildren, seven nephews, a very special niece Naijah Evans, five nieces, and a host of aunts, uncles, grandnieces and special friends, Greg Young, Timothy Winters and Vince Knight.
