In Memory: Jody Rene Overby, 41

Jody Rene Overby, age 41, passed away on October 22, 2015. Jody was born on August 7, 1974 in Cartersville, GA, son of Booker and Jean Overby.

He is survived by his parents; wife, Caroline Rose Overby; sons, Blaine, Madden and Bryce Overby; brothers, Joseph Overby and Shane Ashworth (Misty); sister, Misty Overby; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning on Monday, October 26, 2015 in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Mikel Garrett officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Flynn Kincannon, Anthony Davis, Dewight Parker, Terry Martin, Devin Ruff and Kevin Kincannon.

Visitation will be held from five o’clock in the evening until seven on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Owen Funeral Home.
