Robert Benjamin (Ben) Lowe, 45, of Taylorsville, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015.

Mr. Lowe was born May 25, 1970 in Augusta, the son of Mary Jane (Dooley) and Robert Stephen Lowe, was employed at Thrall Car, loved animals, was a Clemson fan, loved to play tennis and was a member of Raccoon Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edwin and Juanita Hamilton and Ben and Mary Lois Dooley. Surviving is his daughter, Katie Lowe of South Pittsburg, Tennessee; mother and step-father, Ralph and Mary Jane Hamilton of Taylorsville; his father, Steve Lowe of South Carolina; aunts and uncles, Mike and Ginger Dooley of Marietta, Steve Dooley of Atlanta, Dale Brown of Calhoun and Eddie and Elaine Hamilton of Cartersville; and a number of cousins and very special close friends also survive.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Harris officiating. The family received friends at the funeral home Friday evening.
Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Abernathy, Kelly Wade, William Pitts, Carlos Pitts, Rob Belleisle, Sonny Burch and James Burch. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the University of Alabama Neuro Oncology.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
