In Memory: Shawn Hale Dachs, 25, Enjoyed Concerts, Drawing, Video Games

Sir Shawn Hale Dachs, 25, of Cartersville, died Thursday, Nov. 24 at Hospice Atlanta – Emory University in Atlanta.

He was born on Jan. 6, 1991, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Jessie Hale and Ronny Lee Dachs, Jr.

Shawn was proud of his Scottish heritage. He enjoyed going to concerts, skateboarding, listening to music, playing video games, drawing and going to Panama City Beach, Florida. He is preceded in death by his brother, Scotty Owens, and his maternal grandmother, Nancy Elizabeth Hale.

Survivors include his mother, Jessie Hale of Cartersville; his father, Ronny Lee Dachs, Jr. of Marietta; his stepfather, George W. Jones, Jr. of Cartersville; his sisters, Denise Graham of Adairsville, Danielle Jones of Cartersville and Deanna Jones of Canton; his paternal grandparents, Ronald Lee Dachs, Sr. and Angela Dachs of Mableton; his maternal grandfather, Claude Hale of Canton; his uncles, Michael Dachs, Leon Hale and Clyde Hale; along with all of his beloved family of friends “I. A. B. – Just Breath.”

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
