Here are the top three stories today in Cartersville:

1. A woman is wanted in Bartow County for kidnapping. She took the child from a residence on Sunday and was seen in Stonecrest on Wednesday, but without the child. It is reported that he woman "is married to the child's father." (11Alive.com WXIA)
2. Dr. Lance Barry joins Georgia Highlands College Board of Trustees this year. Dr. Barry is a retired physician and surgeon as well as an Air Force veteran. He joins last year's additions of Dr. Gayland Cooper, Sally Platt and Cindy Williams. (Yahoo News)
3. The 2023 budget meeting for Bartow County on Feb. 15 landed on a near $200 million tab. Most of this year's expenses will go to public safety. County administrator Peter Olsen says the budget "is only up 12.5% without the addition of ARPA and Cares Grants." (wbhfradio.org)
