MLK Day 2018: What’s Open, Closed In Bartow County

Federal, state, county and city government offices, the post office, schools and others will have the day off on Monday.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — All local, state and federal government offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 15 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Here's a rundown of what will be closed throughout the county:

All Bartow County government offices, except law enforcement and others required for citizen comfort and safety, will be closed Jan. 15. County offices will resume normal operations on Tuesday.
Cartersville City and Bartow County schools will also be on holiday for Jan. 15. Georgia Highlands College and Chattahoochee Technical College will also close their campuses for MLK Day.
Bartow County Public Library branches will be closed Monday, Jan. 15. They will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 16.
Georgia state offices, including driver's services, will be closed Jan. 15.
U.S. Postal Service post offices and mail delivery will not operate Jan. 15.
City offices, including Adairsville, Cartersville, Euharlee, Emerson, White and Kingston, will be closed Monday and reopen Tuesday.
