Police Identify Motorcyclist Killed In Weekend Wreck

The operator of the motorcycle slammed into the back of a Toyota Tacoma Saturday evening near Adairsville.

The Georgia State Patrol has identified the motorcyclist who died Saturday evening in a fatal wreck in Bartow County.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, a 2006 Toyota Tocoma and a Harley Davidson motorcycle were traveling eastbound on S.R. 140 near Bozeman Road around 7:04 p.m. Aug. 15.

The motorcycle was approaching the Tacoma from behind when the driver of the truck ”attempted to pull into a private drive too fast and lost control of his vehicle,” said spokesperson Tracey Watson.
