Here are the top three stories today in Cartersville:

  1. Cartersville City Schools superintendent, Dr. Marc Feuerbach, will be the 2023 Cartersville-Bartow Chamber of Commerce Board Chair. Cam Parker, last year's chair, "passed the gavel" to Dr. Feuerbach, Cartersville High student Sam Bernstein sang the national anthem and the JROTC presented the colors. (WBHF Radio via Facebook)
  2. The first open house meeting for the 'planned greenspace' by Aubrey Corp. on Tuesday evening was so full that "the room where it was being held overflowed." There will be another open house meeting tomorrow at 4p.m. at the Bartow County Courthouse. (wbhfradio.org)
  3. The Cartersville City Council voted to set the "guaranteed maximum price" of $12 million for a new water complex planned for a location near Douthit Ferry Road. The Council also inquired about previously discussed plans to expand the Farmer's Market. "At this point in time they don't see the market going across Cherokee, but they're working on it," said Cartersville City Manager Dan Porta. (Subscription: The Daily Tribune News)
