Board members at their Nov. 9 meeting approved the purchase of 12 zSpace 300 computers for the elementary, middle and high school for $92,300.54. The system will fund the purchase with SPLOST dollars and will include software, eye glasses and licenses.
Also approved were two bid proposals from Leisure Time Charters and Tours. One was for Cartersville Middle School Tour of Georgia trip in May 2016 and the other is for the middle school band trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, in March 2016.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Cartersville School Board is set for Monday, Dec. 7 where they will hold a combined work session and board meeting at 6 p.m.
Winter holidays are scheduled for Dec. 21 to Jan. 1, 2016.
