New Family Physician Joins Cartersville Clinic

As a family medicine physician, she works on the frontline with her patients to help identify their wellness objectives and structure action plans so they achieve their best health.
“So much of our wellbeing lies in our hands to control,” says Dr. Gregory. “I have an opportunity to guide the people I treat and help them make wise, healthy choices. By changing certain behaviors, we can align ourselves with our personal health goals.”

“We are delighted to welcome Dr. Gregory to our practice,” says Dr. Jayson Fields of Harbin Clinic Family Medicine Cartersville. “Her medical training and abilities coupled with her desire to heal and enhance the wellness of her patients fits perfectly with our mission to care completely for the families of Bartow County.”
Her main goal as a family physician, says Dr. Gregory, is to help her patients feel in charge of their health.

“We can’t change our genetics but we can optimize the physical bodies we’ve been given,” explains Dr. Gregory. “We decide what we put in them and how we care for them. To a large extent, we control how strong and healthy we can be.”
Dr. Gregory received her Medical Doctorate degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. She completed both her internship and residency in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Gregory’s joining Harbin Clinic Family Medicine Cartersville - which has eight physicians and six nurse practitioners - is an example of the health organization’s focus on growing its services in Bartow County.
“We’re not only expanding the breadth of our specialties offered in the area, but we’re aiming to nurture the wellness of the community by hosting healthy events for families and increasing our presence in the area overall,” says Harbin Clinic CEO Kenna Stock.
Harbin Clinic Cartersville established three new specialties in 2017, and Dr. Gregory is the latest of eight physicians to join the clinic in Bartow County.
Dr. Riaz Gill established Harbin Clinic Gastroenterology Cartersville; Dr. Clare Foss established Harbin Clinic Dermatology Cartersville and Dr. S. Nok Keomahathai established Harbin Clinic Spine & Pain Management Cartersville.
Five new physicians joined established Harbin practices in Cartersville in 2017. Dr. John Simmons III joined Harbin Clinic General Surgery; Dr. Jason Andersen joined Harbin Clinic Orthopaedics; Dr. Afu Abdul joined Harbin Clinic Nephrology and Drs. Digant Bhatt and Rajeeve Subbiah joined Harbin Clinic Cardiology.
Harbin Clinic is currently in early planning stages to expand its medical services by building an additional facility near the current Cartersville property located on Gentilly Boulevard.
In Adairsville, the new Harbin Clinic Family Medicine & Pediatrics building on North Central Avenue is on track to open in May of 2018. The 10,140 square-foot facility will have room for future expansion, enabling the clinic to care more completely and comfortably for families.
