1. New trails signs installed at Pine Mountain: From the trailheads to the summit, new trail signs have been installed along Pine Mountain. One of the goals of this project is to help minimize rescues by the fire department, and to make it easier to know where you are along the mountain. (City of Cartersville via Facebook)
2. White City Hall vigil pays respects to Mayor Bell: Remembering the life of former Mayor Perry Bell, a candlelight vigil was held outside the White City Hall building. Bell, who died in a motocross accident on Sept. 24. Bell, 54, was elected the mayor of White earlier this year and took office in June.
