  1. Ernesta, a new "direct-to-consumer rug company" is set to open a warehouse here in Cartersville. Founded in November 2022 by "a team including John Foley, Hisao Kushi and Yony Feng, the co-founders of Peloton," has hired Mike Ross as head of production. Ross brings over 25 years of industry experience to his new role. (metroatlantaceo.com)
  2. The Georgia Department of Transportation has partnered with Indeed to host a virtual job fair on Tuesday, Mar. 21. GDOT is hiring for highway maintenance technician positions in White, as well as other locations in the state. Interviews will be held virtually or over the phone and job offers could be made on the spot. (wbhfradio.org)
  3. Krystal will be testing a new 'Big Burger' in several locations, including Cartersville. This new offering will be "a quarter pound of 100% Angus beef" offered in single, double or triple patty burgers. 'Big Burger' will only be a temporary name, as "Krystal will use fans feedback to choose an official name prior to the system-wide launch."(RestaurantNews.com)
