Newt & Callista Gingrich to visit Woodstock

FoxTale Book Shoppe will once again host former Speaker Newt Gingrich and his wife, Callista, a children’s book author, on Friday, October 17 at 7pm. Callista will be signing and discussing her latest picture book, From Sea to Shining Sea. Newt will be signing his latest non-fiction book, Breakout. This is a free event open to the entire community; FoxTale will have both current and back titles of the author’s books available for purchase and signing.

Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House, is touring with the paperback release of Breakout. He is the author of several bestselling books, including the Revolutionary War series of historical fiction novels and numerous non-fiction titles. Gingrich is a former Cobb County resident and Congressman for the 6th District from 1979 to 1999. Gingrich was a candidate for the 2012 Republican Party presidential nomination. He remains active as a political consultant, speaker, author and historian.
