Ollie's Bargain Outlet To Open In Cartersville

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- If you're always on the hunt for cheaper places to shop, then a new store slated to open in Cartersville could be just what you're looking for. 

Ollie's Bargain Outlet will open in the city at 264 Nelson Street in late October, said Jerry Altland, vice president of real estate.

The company buys name-brand products and sells it at cheaper prices for customers. The store is divided into departments such as domestics, books, house ware, hardware and nonperishable food items.

"Our stores are like a treasure hunt," Altland told Patch. "You never know what you are going to find from one visit to the next.”

Ollie's has locations in Canton, Mableton, Marietta, Duluth, Fayetteville and Stockbrige. Each store is typically between 30,000 and 33,000 square feet, Altland added. 

When asked why residents should consider spending their hard-earned money at Ollie's, Altland said not only are the prices worth the drive, but the store also has quirky signs designed to make you laugh as well as complimentary coffee for shoppers. 

“i think everyone likes to save a buck in the economy (of) today," he added.
