Participants Could Win More Than $6,000 In Golf Ball Drop Raffle

As golfers at the AT&T Corporate Real Estate Property Management Charity Classic hope for that illustrious hole in one, one lucky person will walk away with a prize for simply purchasing a chance in the Golf Ball Drop Raffle.

At the annual tournament, which is scheduled for Oct. 6, a golf ball drop will give the public the opportunity to try their luck without ever having to pick up a club.

Up to 250 numbered golf balls will be dropped from a hot air balloon over the green, each with an equal chance of being the first to land in the cup. The numbered ball that goes in the hole first wins 50 percent of what is raised in golf ball sales. If all 250 golf balls are sold, that is a prize of up to $6,250. While a winner will be announced that day, the winner does not need to be present to win and will be notified by email.

Each chance to win the Golf Ball Drop Raffle costs $50, with half the proceeds going to Advocates for Children and its programs that are dedicated to the treatment and prevention of child abuse and neglect. Advocates for Children serves more than 3,000 families and children annually.
