A Cartersville woman was transported to an area hospital for treatment after she was hit by a car Tuesday evening in Bartow County.

The collision occurred around 9:09 p.m. Nov. 3 on the northbound side of U.S. 41/S.R. 3 near the cloverleaf, the Georgia State Patrol said.
Cartersville resident Shannon Renee Page, 36, was walking northbound in the right lane along the highway when she was struck in the back by a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 19-year-old Brooklyn Madison Frasier of Cartersville, GSP said.

Page was injured and was transported to Floyd Medical Center where she was treated for injuries, the state agency said.
