Police Identify Motorcyclist Killed In I-75 Wreck

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a fatal accident involving two vehicles on a stormy Wednesday afternoon in Bartow County.

Around 4:35 p.m. June 24, a 2000 Honda STI motorcycle and a 2002 Toyota Camry Solara were both traveling southbound on Interstate 75 near mile marker 304 when they collided, said agency spokesperson Franka Young.

The motorcycle’s operator, 76-year-old Gene E. McCall, was ejected from the vehicle while the driver of the Camry, Ingrid C. Zito, 56, of White, was not injured.

Young stated charges are pending the completion of the Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team’s investigation.
