The victim told the officer she and McGlorie “were romantically involved” and she woke up to the suspect allegedly stabbing her with a pocket knife, according to the report. The woman said she ran out of the bedroom and called 911.

A witness told the officer she was sitting in her car in the parking lot when she saw McGlorie allegedly run away from the apartment covered in blood, the officer wrote in the report.

The witness also said McGlorie allegedly put on another shirt to cover the blood-stained shirt he was wearing. She noted McGlorie was also sporting a white shirt and gym shorts at the time of the incident.

The victim was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital where she was treated for her injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call the Cartersville Police Department’s tip line at 770-606-5337.
