Police Make 12th Arrest In Cartersville Shooting
The May 16 shooting led to the arrest of a dozen suspects in the days following the incident.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Cartersville police investigators have made yet another arrest in a shooting that left one male injured last week, bringing the total number of apprehensions related to the May 16 incident to 12.
The latest arrest made by police is of Eshaun Green, who is charged with aggravated assault, affray (fighting in a public place that causes a disturbance of the peace), possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Green is the latest in a steady stream of residents who've been charged over the last week following the May 16 shooting.

Cartersville officers were dispatched to a shots fired call around 7:45 p.m. at a residence on Hannon Way, which is located off Cassville Road.
Officers arrived to find a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound and a male suspect who fled the scene. With the help of the Bartow County Sheriff's Office and Cartersville-Bartow Drug Task Force, the primary suspect, Jordahni Rimpel, was located and taken into custody a short time later.

Following Rimpel's capture, Cartersville investigators arrested 10 additional subjects possibly tied to the May 16 incident:
- Cecil Grant Harrish, charged with affray;
- Kameron Rainer, charged with affray;
- James Darns, charged with affray and possession of marijuana;
- Equan Green, charged with possession of marijuana, theft by receiving, aggravated assault and affray;
- Angela Rodgers, charged with possession of marijuana and theft by receiving;
- Demetres Jett, charged with possession of marijuana and theft by receiving;
- Diamond Loggins, charged with possession of marijuana and theft by receiving;
- Toni Rodgers, charged with possession of marijuana;
- Cedric Jett, charged with possession of marijuana; and,
- Thomas Hyde, charged with possession of marijuana.
Police note the arrest of Equan Green took place following a search warrant executed at the male's residence. That search unearthed several weapons, stolen guns and drugs, Cartersville police state. The arrests of Angela and Toni Rodgers, Demetres and Cedric Jett, Loggins and Hyde also stemmed from the warrant's execution, the agency added.
