Portion of Burnt Hickory Road To Close For 2 Weeks

The closure will go into effect April 4-18 near the intersection of Cline Drive and Burnt Hickory Road near Cartersville.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Bartow County is in the midst of constructing the Burnt Hickory Road Connector, a project designed to connect the road to U.S. 411/S.R. 20 in Cartersville.

As part of the project, the county plans to close a portion of Burnt Hickory Road for two weeks from April 4 to April 18.

The closure will affect a roughly 1,000-foot segment near the intersection of Cline Drive and Burnt Hickory Road. Motorists will be directed to utilize West Iron Belt Road to access S.R. 3/U.S. 41 as a detour.

No residents or stakeholders who need to access side roads affected by the road closure will be denied access at any time during this closure, the county added.
