Rebecca Louise Harris, 46, Shoney's Employee Who Never Met a Stranger
Funeral services for the Bartow County native will be held on Sunday, Nov. 23.

The following obituary was submitted by Parnick Jennings Funeral Home & Cremation Services:
Rebecca Louise Harris, 46, of Adairsville, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, at her residence. A native of Bartow County, born October 10, 1968, she was the daughter of Jennie Marie Hatfield Harris and the late “Jimmy” C.W. Harris.

Becky was employed by Shoney’s and was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a hard worker, never met a stranger and had an outgoing personality. Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Curtis, Harris and Danny Harris; and a sister, Toni Harris.
Survivors include her mother, Bobbie “Jennie” Harris of Cartersville; her grandmother, Clara Hatfield of Calhoun; her daughters, Toni and Kayla Harris, Macy and Madison Blackmore all of Cartersville; her grandchildren, McKenzi Ray of Calhoun, Kevin and Gavin Morgan of Hiram and Hunter Register of Cartersville; her sisters, Kathy Mae Towe and husband, Jay of Calhoun, Deborah Harris and husband Shane Cox of Cartersville; a brother, Wayne Harris of Cartersville; her mother-in-law, Denise Millis of Cartersville and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with the Rev. Dewayne Mullinax officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Mathews, David Ezell, Ben Lowe, Chris Reid, Dylan Satterfield and Chandler Franklin. Bliss Gudmondson and Adam Hatfield will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
