Red Top Mountain State Park To Host Bluegrass Concert Series

The concerts will be held by the Old Vaughn Cabin near Cartersville.

Cartersville and Bartow County residents are invited to bring a chair and enjoy a bluegrass concert series set to begin on Saturday at Red Top Mountain State Park.

The concerts, which will be held outdoors by the Old Vaughn log cabin, will be held at 8 p.m. on Saturdays from May 16, to June 20.

Residents can pack a dinner and scout one of the many picnic tables around the park, which surrounded by the scenery of Lake Allatoona.

Before the inaugural show featuring Edgar Loudermilk and Jeff Autry, residents will be able to see molten iron poured into molds that you can carve with your own design at an event that gets underway at 2 p.m.
