Report: Registered Sex Offender Charged With Public Indecency
Cartersville resident Christopher Bryant Junkin was arrested on Friday after he was caught exposing himself in Cobb County.

A Cartersville resident and registered sex offender was arrested on Aug. 15 after he allegedly exposed himself in public on two separate occasions.
Christopher Bryant Junkin has been charged with two counts of public indecency and is currently behind bars at the Cobb County Jail with a $20,000 bond.
According to The Atlanta Journal Constitution, three women on Aug. 2 told Cobb police they saw a man allegedly exposing and videotaping himself at the intersection of Barrett Parkway and Cobb Parkway in Kennesaw. The witnesses were able to provide a photo and video of the suspect.

A similar incident was reported the next day at the same location and the victim was able to give detectives a partial tag number of the vehicle involved in both cases, the AJC reports. During their investigation, Cobb authorities determined Junkin was nabbed in 2009 for a similar incident in Buford, the newspaper states.
According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s sex offender registry search, Junkin was convicted in June 2005 of aggravated child molestation.
